You’re Fabulous! It’s Stamp & Play Thursday!
Posted by Deena on March 27, 2008
Hello! Today’s Ways to Use it challenge on SCS encouraged everyone to JUST SPRAY IT! Well I did just that! I used bleach in a spray bottle to get a mottled, tie dye look for my background paper. Easy, fun effect! Just be careful that you wear old clothes in case some spray ends up on you! I used the paper for the main bg, as well as the panels.
The flowers are spritzed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist, which adds a nice sparkle IRL. I also added Heidi Swapp crystals for some bling and to draw your eye to this small focal image. I didn’t use a larger image and left some white negative space so the bleach effect could remain a focus of the card as well.
Hope you like it! Any questions? Ask away!
Card Supplies: Paper: Bazzill Basics text. CS, Provo Craft dp,
Ink: SU Taken with Teal
Stamps: Verve Visual Uplifting Phrases, SU Friendship blooms
Accessories: Heidi Swapp Icee Jewels, flower punch, Tattered angels glimmer mist
This is Stamp & Play Thursday, so I want to know, do any of you have bleached creations to share? I would love to see them! Link your cards to the comments if you do! Keyword ANCSP2 if you link to SCS. There is a tutorial on SCS for other ways to use bleach too!
Have fun!!
