Bee Sweet!

Bee Sweet

Here I’ve made my own paper with Boho Backgrounds in Summer Sun ink on Summer Sun card stock and added these wide eyed bees in basic black. This was for a limited supply challenge on SCS. We had to make our own designer paper and use only our own dp on the card.

I used Beate’s sketch # 43 for the layout. Check out her blog, Fresh & Fun!

The really rust panel is paper pierced freehand. For a how too on this, check out the TECHNIQUES page.

I cut out one bee and popped her up on dimensionals.

The flower is stamped and cut out, with the petals curled up and held on with an orange brad.

The sentiment is not smudged. It is from a set called For the Men and is supposed to look a little dirty around the edges…or sticky in this case! I spelled the word *bee* with single letter stamps from Inkadinkado, in Really Rust.

The card base is Not Quite Navy cs.

Card Supplies:

  • Stamps- Cornish Heritage Farms, Sideshow Stamps
  • Ink- Stampin’ Up Basic Black, Really Rust, Not Quite Navy, Summer Sun
  • Paper- SU Really Rust, Summer Sun, Not Quite Navy
  • Accessories- brad, dimensional sticky dots, paper pierce tool
