I made this on Saturday night for the SCS inspiration challenge, which featured some very yummy looking totes from Pink Lemonade Bags .  I chose a lovely blue and brown tote as I just can’t get enough of these colours!

This is also another example of coloring on vellum.   I love coloring on the back of the vellum allowing the color to subtly and softly shine through the front.  I embossed the pretty Flourishes image first using chocolate chip ink and clear embossing powder.  I flipped it over and colored the back of the cups (without having to worry about coloring around the little fourishes), and that’s it they’re done. I used Martha Stewart dye ink markers to apply the color, but SU markers, watercolor crayons, or ink, and a blender brush would work equally well.

I mounted the vellum on Bazzill java cardstock.  The dp is from the Martha Swewart Create Playful Blue paper pack.  The ribbon is May Arts from Verve Visual.    This card was also the perfect opportunity  to use  some pretty Kaisercraft pearls that my sweet SCS friend, Peggy, gave me.

Hope this inspires you today! :)
