Crafty Creations Challenge

Posted by Deena on July 15, 2009

TRAVEL is the theme for this week’s challenge on Crafty Creations.   As all my travels lately have been with my boys in tow,  I thought that I would try to make something that might keep them busy (and hopefully quiet) in the car for a short while.   I decided to make this magnetic travel memory game  and mini scrapbook.

Magnetic memory game collage

Admittedly, the memory game will probably not hold their attention long, as it is a bit too simple with only 6 pairs to match up, but still, they will find it amusing just for the fact that it is in a tin and magnetic! lol.   It would be perfect for a 3 or 4 year old I think!   The scrapbook, on the other hand is right up their alley!  They both really enjoy keeping things from their travels to later stick into their albums, and it’s a simple thing for me to supply them with stickers and embellishments that they’ll find fun to add too while on the road!

I hope you’ll join us in the TRAVEL challenge on Crafty Creations Challenges!!   Ali has generously sponsored us this week with a lovely assortment of Stampin’ Up! ribbons!

Can’t wait to see what you do!

Have a creative day!!

  6. What a great creation! I would never have thought of making this, but then again, I guess you have to get creative with kids these days. They have way too many toys to choose from! I would still the game though, lol.
