This week at Squigglefly Marlene (our super fearless and funny leader) has given us a fabulous sketch to follow! I had a ton of fun working on this sketch with my friend Peggy over for the better part of Friday! We not only had time to make cards, but also to go out to lunch and head over to my local scrapbook store! A fabulous day! Thanks to Des (hubby extraordinaire) for picking up the boys from school giving us plenty of time to play!! Could a girl have it any better?! I think not.

For my card I used a Lulu Lancaster image called Gothic Bouquet and colored her up with Copics. I think she is so sweet with those sad puppy dog eyes. I thought it would make a good “get well” card for a friend who’s been really sick for a couple of weeks now. I sure hope she is feeling better when I see her tomorrow!

What a darling card Deena. I saw this one IRL and gee, it’s so sweet. Love what you did with the papers and the subtle hemp there is charming. I had a wonderful time with you Deena, let’s do it again sooner. LOL
