We’re visiting Japan with the ART JOURNAL CARAVAN and I was prompted to use a Haiku and made my own. This page came to be with a lot of symbolism behind it. The bird in this page represents how time flies, the crane with the woman represents the desire for eternal youth(of mind), happiness and wisdom, the words in between represent a fragment of my life lived and the symbol for optimism represents my struggles and pursuit of well being.
I’ve used imagery and papers from Studio Tangie March Collection Parcel Kit to make my page.
