Dear Deena,
I love your skating snowmen card and would love to know what company the “vintage” snowmen are from. Thank you.

Just wanted to say from one crafting DEENA to another – i love your stuff you have posted!! I stumbled across this while looking for a quick pic online of mittens that were just a b&w drawing to label the shelves in the back (i know easy to draw but was in a hurry – was looking to make all the tags for the shelves look the same, not happening!! lol)
Wonderful stuff – love your homemade giftcard holder shaped like a mitten and your glitter snowglobe!!
Thanks

I am wondering if you “created” the tags stamped with the Christmas phrase/dove in silver with the purple ribbon or if those were a purchased item. I am looking for “tags” that have a pretty shape to them to stamp… please let me know. Thanks so much.

Hi Michelle, I used Nestabilities Labels four die cuts in my cuttlebug machine to cut the tags that you are referring to. You can purchase precut decorative tags such as these on ETSY http://www.etsy.com/search/handmade?search_submit=&q=die+cut+tags if you are interested.

Hi Deena,
I found that tutorial very interesting and am wondering where I would get the closure magnets and are these magnets like calculator batteries in apppearance such as used on the closure boxes that come from China or are they flat like fridge magnets. Also is there somewhere that has a store of different patterned paper from which I might choose for to cover the grey board I will use to make my boxes. And just one more question,my boxes will be rather large, 24 x 19 x 10cm high, x about 100 boxes, so whats the best way to get all that glueing done. Thanks for taking the time if you get a chance to reply. Martin, Co Cork, Ireland.

As to your questions, I think you must be referring to the flat fold boxes tutorial? The magnets are sold in different sizes and are flat, not thick like the watch battery size magnets that are sold. BASIC GREY sells these magnet discs/snaps and you can find them at Simon Says Stamp http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/servlet/StoreFront or Custom Crops http://www.customcrops.com/ . For heavy weight papers, Jillybean Soup, Basic Grey, and Pink Paislee all make 65lb heavy weight patterned papers that are thick enough to make fairly sturdy decorative boxes, but not as thick as card stock which is usually 80 to 110lb. For gluing, I like to use mono multi glue by Tombow. It is super sticky and dries fast to hold flaps. I would also recommend scor tape in 1/8 to 1/4″ width for this as well. http://www.customcrops.com/advanced_search_result.php?item_id=&item_type=&keywords=scor+tape&submit=Search
I hope this helps answer your questions! Thanks for stopping by and best of luck with your projects!
