A Limo Ride

I was thrilled Sunday to see that fellow blogger, Maren (mmbc) on SCS was the Featured Stamper! Her cards are fabulous! This is the card I cased.

I had to case this one…As soon as I saw it, this wedding limo idea popped into my head and I just couldn’t get it out!

I thought it would be so cute as a wedding shower invite or even a casual wedding invite, a congratulations, or happy honeymoon…my list goes on! It would be easy to add any sentiment to the “bumper” and change the “license plate”! I had a lot of fun with this one!

As soon as I saw Maren’s great card, I had these ideas floating around and I just had to start on it! That was at 10Am! I never stamp at that hour! 🙂 I did this time, BEFORE having to take the boys to swimming at 11:40, before I was even showered or dressed! I was still in my pj’s. Needless to say, I had to rush around at the last minute to get ready and out the door!

I drew the template, then cut it out of a top folded white 4 1/4 X 5 inch cs.
I used my Scor- Pal to emboss the lines.
The Bride and Groom are stamped from All in The Family! LOVE this set!
The license plate of hearts is a Studio g stamp.

Even my 6 year old son was inspired by this one! He just had to make his own card with me (which further delayed me) but was so worth it! He really is very creative and he made his card by himself. He had to ask me for the supplies and scissors etc. , and he traced my template. Then, the little entrepreneur that he is, asked his Dad to buy it for $1.00!! He did. 🙂

He also said that he was a better artist than me because and I quote: “You couldn’t draw your own people in the car; I drew mine, you had to STAMP yours!!”

Isn’t it cute??

He will be so thrilled when I show him his “art” on my blog!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great Monday everyone!

I used to make my brother go door to door when I was a kid selling our “art.” LOVE it, heehee :0) P.S. The gems for lights are brilliant!
