….And pack your punches!! This little sailboat is easy to make using your circle punch and a square punch! Add a fish tag with your oval punch and you’re set to sail!
The SCS color challenge uses the colors Real Red, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou.
O.k. I confess I have no real red, so I had to use dp that picked up the red and it also had a close second to soft sky as well. I love this paper! It’s called Color Me Silly by Basic Grey.
I used a circle punch and a square punch to make the sailboat. The fish is stamped in Pumpkin Pie and the bubbles are soft sky. If you look closely they are there!
I used my 1 1/4 inch round and square punches for the sailboat. I cut the circle just past the halfway point, so if you have a larger round punch, use it and just cut it in half. The square punch is just cut on the diagonal and one half is cut in half again. I stamped the bubbles from Life’s a Breeze on white cs in Soft Sky and then the fish in Pumpkin Pie. I used both oval punches from Stampin’ UP for the tag.
Think about the other punches you may have and the different shapes you can use to create simple objects. Punch the out the shapes and play around with them, you may be surprised at what you create!
Have a creative day!
