Hello!
This week’s Ways to use it challenge on SCS was to use up our scraps and make a scrappy card. I made mine in a shabby chic style. It’s not my usual style but I do like how it turned out and it was a fun card to make using up my scraps! And yes, everything is from my scrap pile except the flower, but I made it look shabby by sponging the edges. Even the die cut branch was a discard from another project. The button is from a pile of very old buttons that I’ve had for years.
The flower is new (thanks Peggy!) but I sponged on it to make it a bit shabby.
The Flourishes lily is stamped directly onto the cs in Weathered wood distress ink.
The background is stamped with a CHF canvas backgrounder.
Stamps: Flourishes Spring Ephemerals, CHF
Paper: DCWV white core pale plum, Bazzill Basics deep rose
Ink: Distress ink weathered wood, SU Bravo Burgandy
Accessories: magentastyle flower, Pearl button, purple cord, mini clothespin, Infuse diecut, edge distresser
Thanks for stopping by today!! I love your company! 😉
Deena, I LOVE this! It’s simple elegance at it’s best! I also love your Paper Pretties cards too — way cute!!!
