Ahoy! Me Stampin’ Matey’s!!

Aar ye in fer a spell me hearty’s?  I be wantin’ ter cut the lanyard and drop the killick!  I be o’er ready fer me grog!

O.k that’s about it for the pirate speak…  But in celebration of yesterday’s Talk Like a Pirate Day,  I made a pirate card that at least us landlubbers can enjoy!

I just got these stamps from High Hopes Rubber Stamps today!  They make the cutest, sweetest stamps.  You really have to check them out!

The wheel, pirate boy, map and sentiment, (and a cute parrot) were all included in last month’s stamp set of the month.  A real deal! They have a new set every month.  I can’t believe I waited this long to order from them!

I stamped the little pirate in Staz -on, on Very Vanilla paper by Stampin’ Up!, and then colored him using my Promarkers and aqua brush.  I cut him out.   The map is stamped in Old Paper Ranger Distress ink, cut out and distressed around the edges and sponged/distressed all over.  The sentiment was done the same way and i just popped it up on foam adhesive dots.  The background paper looks like wood grain which I thought was fun  ’cause it sort of looks like the interior of a ship! I stamped the wheel directly onto the dp.

Thanks for stoppin’ in today me hearty’s!! 🙂
