Snow Day…NOT YET!

I have no idea why I thought to make a snowflake card when it has been unusually HOT outside these last two days! I love it hot too…only wish it would last…especially after the cruddy summer we had!  I am pretty certain it will not last, and snow will eventually fall upon us, so I’ll enjoy it while I can!

I made this for the sketch challenge on SCS this week.

Stamps: A Tree for all Seasons, Snow Flurries,
Paper: Bazzill White, Heidi grace Snowflake paper reverse sides, Bazzill aqua, Bazzill Navy
Ink: Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy
Accessories: Heidi Swapp acetate snowflakes, clear gem brads

I thought this sketch was so fun to work with!

I stamped the white card base with the snow flurries snowflakes, and again on the main panel.  Don’t you just love this little tree and snowman from Stampin’ Up! ?  It is an oldie, but a goodie!!  I love how it looks tucked up in the corner with the snowflakes around it.  What do you think?

Don’t forget that World Card Making Day is coming up!! It’s on the first Saturday of October.  It’s a great day to CELEBRATE OUR PASSION!  Get together with friends if you can, and stamp away… maybe even get a head start on some Holiday Season cards??!! Wouldn’t that be great!

Here’s the link to the official site for all you need to know about WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!

What will you be doing?

Have a creative day everyone!

  1. I am a snow card fan, not so much of the cold that goes with it. If it could be 50 and snow it wouldn’t be so bad. Heehee. Any way very cute card love all the layers.
