Spreading the love…

your_blog_is_fabulousthe_spreader_of_love_award-from-els

I received these fabulous awards!   It has taken me a while to post the one on the left,  and after receiving the spreader of love award, I thought I had better start spreading the word too!   Thank you to my sweet blogging friends, Becky, from Camellia Cottage Designs and Els from Els Online.  You will be inspired by these ladies, so visit their blogs and say hello!

I am to choose at least 5 others to receive these awards so, I would like to give them to these blogging friends:

Jenny

Bridgett

Susan

Kathy

Ann

Take them both or take your pick!   Now, I have met so many wonderful blogging friends, I just have to spread the love, so if you are on any of my blogrolls to the left please take the Spreader of Love Award and continue to spread the love!   I am inspired by you all!

Now for a quick card!

img_7783-mini-gate-fold-valentine-w-30 This is a quick little 3″x3″ gatefold card I made for Cards 4 Kids.

I started with a 6″ x 3″ length of  baja blue cardstock, scored at 1 1/2″ and 4 1/2″.   Fold them towards the middle of the card to form the gatefold.  I cut a 2 3/4″ square of Real Red Stampin’ Up printed dp, and cut it down the centre adhering it on either side of the gate fold.   The heart from Stampin’ Up’! set, A Little Somethin’,  is stamped in Red Riding Hood ink and the left side is adhered to the left gate panel.  The bottoms of the front folds are punched with a slat punch, and I weaved the ribbon through to tie  it closed at the center.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

You know I enjoy your company! 😉

Thanks for visiting! I have always needed to express my creativity, and I am the happiest when I do so. My blog is a way to challenge myself creatively, keep me motivated and inspired, to explore new ideas, and to share them with others! I feel the need to express myself in new ways...I hope you'll join me!
