Tranquility

Wishing you a peaceful day!  I’m still not feeling my best, so I’m going to get some rest, but don’t worry I have something brewing and will share it with you all  in a day or two!  HINT: It’s what you’ve been asking for in the polls!

img_7839-a-birds-eye-view-w-30 I made this the other day for the limited supply challenge. We were to use a black base with a lot of it still showing.  I used this beautiful dp from Basic Grey Periphery for the main panel.  The panel beneath the bird is Kraft card stock.  I ran it through the cuttlebug using the forest branches folder, and added a wash of acrylic cream paint over it for added texture.

A few added details such as the blue pearls, and felt layered flower, and it was done.

I just love how peaceful this image is.  Doesn’t that bird just draw you in and make you want to drift away in dreams?  It just calms me to look at it.  In fact, I like it so much that I decorated my inspiration book (a collection of  whatever crafty thoughts come my way) with it too!

Well, I’m off to curl up with a good book, and hopefully get a good night’s sleep too.

Thanks for stopping in, my friends!  Talk to you again soon!!
