I just came home from dinner and a movie with Des, wow, a date on a Friday night! Dinner was great, but the movie not so great! Oh well, you win some, you lose some. It was still nice to be out. Tomorrow, I get to go out with the girls! My friends are taking me out to celebrate my birthday that just passed at the beginning of the month. It was the only time we could all get together, so tomorrow it is! I haven’t been told what it is we are doing though…so I’m a little curious!! I’ll let you all know Sunday what we were up to!
Here’s a card I made a couple of days ago, I was asked to make a sympathy card and it needed to be masculine. I usually find it difficult to make masculine cards, but I decided clean and simple was best and it came together quite easily.
The Timeless Tuesday challenge this week is to use embossing on our cards, so I embossed the branch from Flourishes Home Tweet Home set in clear embossing powder on not quite navy card stock.
I paper pierced the bottom edge of the navy, added dew drops to the top corner and tied Basic Grey ribbon around it. Mounted it to the Basic Grey cs. The sentiment is stamped in Not Quite Navy ink on the not quite navy cs so it has a watermark look.
Have a great night!
Hi Deena, lovely card, beautiful colours you have used!
I found your envelope in the mailbox today, thank you so much, the paper is just my taste and I read again and again what you wrote for me on your beautiful card and I feel so great!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend with your friends!
Hugs, Alina

Great card, Deena. Masculine cards and sympathy cards are the hardest for me, so I think you did a great job combining the two. It looks awesome.
