Well another weekend has come and gone! How fast they seem to go, and I find it so hard to get motivated for the weekly routine again. Hate those mean mondays!!
I am playing catch up with a couple of cards I made this week, have a look, I hope you enjoy them!
I made this one for a friend who got quite sick over the Easter weekend and is still recuperating. Trees are a sign of life, health, strength and rejuvenation, which is why I’ve used it here. I like the gentle earthy feel of the card, what do you think? I stamped the tree from Stampin’ Up! Forest Friends in wild wasabi ink, cut it out and shadowed it with wild wasabi card stock.
The Timeless Tuesday challenge this week at Flourishes is to use paper piercing , so I pulled out this scoll stamp and pierced around it free hand. I also added pierced dots under the sentiment. This card has a bit of a masculine feel for me, simple but strong at the same time. Maybe I shouldn’t have left so much white space…I’m not sure. The qoute is from Flourishes set “Timeless Quotes”.
Monday morning is coming quickly, so that’s it for me tonight folks! I hope you all have a good start to the week!!
