I had a another baby card to make, this time for a baby boy. I was asked to make a large format so there would be enough room for everyone to sign (it was being passed around the office for a co-worker), so this is 5″ x 7″.
I used my scalloped rectangle Nestabilities to cut and emboss the center panels. The dp and the stamp are from Stampin’ Up! I added two little blue button brads for the wheels of the buggy, and the ribbon on the buggy panel is just passed through punched holes on either side and adhered to the back of the panel. The long ribbon is a separate piece atached to the base panel.
Today we’re getting all our yard work done, since it’s the first nice day we’ve had since Friday. Des is putting out our deck furniture now too, although it is still too cold to sit outside for very long. At least it is sunny, and we will get to bbq our steaks tonight!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a creative day!
This is a lovely card, Deena. And what a great idea making it larger for lots of signatures!
