The Simple Things…

I was thrilled on Sunday to see that  Kelly A.K.A Shirmcat on SCS  is this week’s Featured Stamper!   I think she is a wonderful card maker and I’ve been enjoying her gallery for some time!  I found a sweet simple card that I wanted to CASE and this is what I came up with for mine.

I used the swiss dots folder to emboss the bazzill yellow cs, and added a strip of turquoise ribbon at the top, adhering it underneath the card stock.  I colored the lemons and bowl with my new copics.   The stamp is from Flourishes Summer on the Patio set.  This set is FULL of great images for summer, including patio tables and chairs, lots of cool drinks and decorative elements too.  The sentiment is one of my favorites from Paper Pretties.   This card measures 5.25″ square.
