Hellooo!!
I am back from a 5 day vacation at my Sister’s home in Ganonoque Ontario. She recently moved to a home on the outskirts of town…they now have 10 acres of land to care for! It was really neat having our own paths in the woods to go 4 wheeling and what fun that was! I had never done it before, being a city gal and all! It was a great visit with my sister and family. My Mom came up for a night too, since she lives only an hour and a bit away. My boys loved playing outside, climbing the huge flat rock on the property, and my 8 year old loved the 4 wheeler too! Des enjoyed some quiet time at home alone (he had to work), but was very happy to see us today when we got home. I missed him too, but I’m so glad i was able to get away with the boys before the summer is over! Des will be off work for a week as of this weekend so we will have some good family time, but we will be staying close to home.
I missed all of you and can’t wait to head off into blog land to see what everyone has been up to. I didn’t have access to the internet for 5 whole days! Yikes! lol.
Today is the Crafty Creations Challenge and I am the hostess this week. Using BUTTONS on our projects is our challenge. I am offering a Stampin’ Up! set (Yummy) to the winner this week, so come join in the challenge!
I’d love to see what you do!!
I punched two different sized circles from Garden Party DCWV paper for the flowers, distressing the edges, and adding buttons to their centers. I used a punch for the scattered leaves, and the stems are stamped. I hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by today! I always look forward to hearing from you!!
Love your fun paper flowers with the buttons Deena – your dp is beautiful!

Hi Deena
We stopped in Ganonoque for lunch last weekend on our way to a wedding in Montreal. Lovely spot.
Actually the wedding was in Brome but had to stop in my favorite store in the Pointe Claire Village on the way.
Sounds like you had fun with your boys!!
