A New CAS Challenge Make Over

It is Monday morning, the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for both my boys.  One is returning, going into grade 3 and my little guy starts Kindergarten later today!!  I am excited for him, because he is sooo obviously excited too. But, I am also a little sad, because it means he’s officially not my “baby” any more.  So much changes when children start school…the way they look at things, the way they behave, attitudes, more independance…which can all be good, but sometimes bad, or at least hard to take as a MOMMY!!  I am sure I will survive;  I am  looking forward to having some extra time to craft.

Speaking of crafting….this is a card I made last night.   This week’s CAS (clean and simple) card is all about MAKE OVERS!  I had to pick one of my own cards to re do in a CAS style.  So here is take two of a card I made quite a while back.

Here is the first take below:

I love blues and browns together, can you tell?   Obviously I changed a lot about the card, but I think I kept the overall look of it.  Actually, I like both cards in their own way!

Thanks for stopping by today!
