I thought I’d show you this set of winter note cards that I made last week.
I have so much fun making 3″ x 3″ notes! I have a pack of Soft Sky card stock leftover fom SU! ‘s In Colors from a while back, and I always thought it looked yummy paired up with Chocolate Chip. I embossed the Soft Sky in my cuttlebug using the snowflakes folder, I punched the snowflakes in chocolate chip card stock, then punched them out using my scallop square punch. They are matted with a square of vanilla card stock. The vanilla looks much better with the soft sky here than white cs would. I think it’s due to the shade of blue that it is, or maybe the combination of the blue and brown, but I definitely thought the vanilla looked better. I added the strip of chocolate chip ribbon for interest and voila! a set of note cards were done! Hope you like them!!
I know I have not been posting as often lately, but I have been very busy. I apologize to my sweet blogging friends if I have not been to comment on your blogs lately!! I will be soon! I miss seeing all your fabulous creations when I don’t get enough time to visit, because you all inspire me so!!
