Today’s technique challenge on SCS was to make an easel card. I love this style card!! Penny has shared her tutorial for us HERE. I decided to make a Christmas card, after all what better kind of card is there to display and use as a decoration after receiving? It was so fun to make and not difficult. If you have any questions about how I made it, ask away, but I think if you look at the tutorial you’ll see how easy it is!
Also, if you haven’t already heard…I’ve been asked to be a Custom Crops designer!! I’m so excited about this, as you all know how much I love to write my own picture tutorials right here on my blog, now I will be writing some exclusive to Custom Crops too! I have my first two projects up on CUSTOM CROPS with detailed tutorials and lots of pictures! So have a look and please leave me a comment…I soooo appreciate your support!! This is my first time and I can’t help but be a bit nervous! I really hope you enjoy them, so here’s a little peek …

And finally, here’s today’s technique challenge card!
For this card I’v used all Imaginisce designer papers (Frosted Forest and So Berry Merry Polar Expressions) and Bazzil red textured and whisper white card stock. The buttons are chipboard buttons that I’ve made with dp and crystal glaze, and tied with red hemp twine. The stamps are Imaginisce Polar Expressions clear stamps. The bear is stamped in Memento rich cocoa ink and his scarf was stamped separately, colored with copics, cut out and adhered. “Be Merry” is stamped in SU! Red Riding Hood ink.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!!
