Hello! If you are like me and about a zillion other crafters, I’ll bet if you look around your craft area right now, you will find lots of Holiday paper scraps everywhere! If you are super organized and have already thrown them in the recycle bin, shame on you! *wink* Get them out! Making Holiday TAGS is a wonderful way to use up those scraps and clean up your desk at the same time.
The tags above were made with scraps I had leftover on my desk, even the decorative edge. I just had to cut the strip in half to fit it. The great thing is that tags can be any shape or size, so using scraps just makes sense. Work with what you have!
I did bring out the striped Stampin’ Up! ribbon to make these big bows; I certainly would never call that much ribbon “scraps”! But aside from the ribbon you can see how quickly tags like this can come together just using your scraps.
The mini tags are punched from leftover bits of whisper white card stock, the bases are offcuts from a red card project, as is the dp. Two eyelets hold the mini tags in place, and I punched a hole at the top to tie my bows. The stamps are from Studio G, dollar bin stamps…so fun!
I hope these might inspire you to “clean up” your work surface today! 😉
They are lovely, Deena, I must find some time and use my scraps, I have two full boxes and I never open them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs, Alina
