My Brew of Choice

FLOURISHES is having a “What’s your Cup of Tea?” challenge!

They are asking us to get inspired by the container of our favorite kind of beverages; suggesting that we look at the label and be inspired by the color or layout of the package.

I’m a coffee girl all the way…seldom will you find my mug  filled with anything else! So, I was inspired by the rich brew of course, but also by the plain brown paper bag that we buy our roasted grounds in as well.  The Flourishes cup I cut out is similar in shape to one of my favorite mugs too.  The heart and the sentiment just sums it all up!

I sponged Kraft card stock with Memento Rich Cocoa and used 7 gypsies gypsy market dp for the background. Rich isn’t it? I love this paper! The mug is stamped on Nook and Pantry Basic Grey dp  and cut out. It’s from Flourishes Coffee With Friends set.  The “coffee rings” are cut out with the Cricut from the Accent essentials cartridge.

I’m off to brew a pot,  who would  like a cup?

  1. Oooooooh, I can almost smell the coffee! Just finished a cup, in fact. Love how rich in color this is. I have this 7 Gypsies paper and think it’s divine. The coffee rings are a great touch. Good luck with the challenge!

  3. Mmmmm, I can smell your coffee now, Deena. Your kraft is perfect for this card. I love coffee piping hot in the morning but in the evening, a hot cup of Celestial Seasonings Mandarin Orange Spice tea is soooo nice.

    Great layout…may I CAS?
