Cuttlebug Fabric Flower Tutorial
I made a sympathy card for a friend whose father passed away this week, and took inspiration from a few challenges. One was the black magic technique on SCS, and another was the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge to make our own flowers. I am not one to use flowers on my cards very often. The reason for this is that I don’t like a lot of bulk on my cards, and I always find flowers to be so thick. I mail a lot of my cards and in Canada the postage is not only expensive, it is also very finicky about shape and size etc. So, I just try to steer clear of bulk. However, yesterday I decided to try making a flat fabric flower to see how it would look. 🙂 I’ve tried fabric flowers before, but cutting them was always a challenge.
