Summer lovin’, had me a blast! Summer lovin’ happened so fast!! O.k I can’t get this song outta my head now!
Yes, the summer is going by quickly and in two and a half weeks we will be going camping with the boys. They are so excited, looking forward to long days at the beach, and time spent fishing! I was talking about getting a license for my son to fish, and he asked me “Mom, for my license will I have to pass a test, or just pay the government?” I laughed and told him we’d have to pay. He was disappointed, saying ” Aww, but I wanted to show them how good I can fish!” 🙂This week’s Crafty Creations Challenge is all about Summer Lovin’ and anything to do with the beach! Have a look at this week’s sponsor and all the fun DT creations HERE.
I cut the shells and the sandcastle using the“Stretch your Imagination” cartridge in my Cricut Expression. Using creamy caramel ink, I sponged the kraft card base and the die cuts. I colored the flag with a copic marker in Sky (B24). The blue paper is Pink Paislee Bayberry cottage dp, highlighted with a little icicle stickles for some shimmery looking waves. I used my scallop punch at the top of the panel. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps.
Cute beach scene.
