Hi all, just a quick post to share this week’s Crafty Creations Challenge with you… I have been busy trying to unpack and do laundry after camping for 9 days, and trying to get ready for my boys’ return to school next week. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and more tired than before my supposed “vacation”! I’ll tell you more about camping later… As for this week’s challenge it’s a fun one! 3-2-1 recipe asking us to use 3 papers, 2 ribbons, and 1 charm! If you look closely at my card you’ll find I took creative license and counted the ribbon in her hair as 1 ribbon. The charm is tied to the green ribbon on the left, and the papers are from Cosmo Cricket (Earth Love). The darling image is a C.C. Designs rubber stamp that I think is just so cute!! Mo’s Digital Pencil is our sponsor, so be sure to stop by the blog and check out the details! Thanks for stopping by today!!

Winged Things
I’ve chosen the theme at Crafty Creations this week as Winged Things. Come share your winged creations with us…fairies, butterflies, birds. angels, these are just a few of the possibilities! The bonus challenge is to make it a Z Fold card! If you need some help with this fold, Beate shares her Z Fold tutorial HERE. I changed the dimensions to 5 1/2″ x 11″ and scored at 2 3/4″, and 5 1/2″. The image is from our SPONSOR this week…Robyn’s Fetish Digital Stamps. Isn’t that birdy tweet?! I colored it with copics. The sentiment was cut with the Cricut, but I can’t remember now which cartridge I used. The papers are from October Afternoon Ducks in a Row. Thanks for stopping by! Deena
Zoom zoom
A masculine birthday card using my cricut and the Summer in Paris cricut cartridge. This was inspired by the Featured Stamper Vicki D’s card on SCS. I used Cosmo Cricket Get Happy dp. for the layers and the base card is black cardstock lined with with white. The french sentiment for happy birthday is from Bonnidee stamps. Getting the car off the mat without ripping the design was tricky as this was cut at 1 1/2″. I managed though, and then I ran it through the zyron sticker machine so I could adhere it to the car’s base layer in white. I’m off to bed now as the construction of our deck starts bright and early in the morning! So if all goes well, we will have a new deck off the side of our pool by the end of the week! Yeah!! Have a great night! Deena

Weddings and Anniversaries
Wow, I can’t believe a whole week has passed since I posted last! I have been low on mojo lately…maybe I’m just enjoying the lazy days of summer. I hope to find my groove again though, as I am feeling really out of touch with my crafty online friends! I hope to get around to visiting your blogs soon too! Last week I finished up 75 of these wedding invitations and RSVP cards for my niece’s wedding in October. She has mailed them out and is anxiously awaiting the return of the RSVPs. I was so happy to have the opportunity to make these for her and her fiancé! My niece is crazy about the color pink and she was very decisive about having pink and black invitations. It is her overall color theme for the wedding too. I have been seeing this modern, trendy color scheme at other weddings lately too! I had complete creative license with the rest though and gave her a few options to choose from. She chose to keep …
