Creepy Crawly Halloween

We’re getting dressed up for Halloween over at Crafty Creations Challenge Blog. Our cards and projects are Halloween or Autumn themed and we look forward to seeing yours too! I cut the web, dangling spiders, and the  ‘creepy crawly’ phrase from the  Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge.  I had this great distressed looking black and white dp, but can’t remember what company it’s from, sorry!  I layered it on black and then a gray card stock card base and it was done…fast and easy with the Cricut! Thanks for stopping by! Deena

The Littlest Witch

Hi everyone! This week, Melissa has asked us to take a color combo challenge;  we must use RED, BROWN and GREEN in our cards or projects. I have today’s Crafty Creations challenge card made and I felt so bad about not getting last week’s done (numbers) that I’ve combined it with this week’s new challenge!   Stitchy Bear Stamps is the sponsor for Crafty Creations challenge this week and I was able to use this adorable witch image.  I’m certain she will grow up to be a’good witch’ :)!  I colored her with Copics  and used core impressions texture card stock in green to back the main panels.  The decorative paper is Basic Grey.  I added a Basic Grey red button with some brown thread for  a bit of added interest.  The 31 is cut using my cricut expression with the Happy Hauntings cartridge. That’s it for today, have a good one and thanks for stopping by!! Deena

Birdcage Note Card

Hi everyone,  Yes, I’ve been a bad blogger lately!  Thanksgiving  long weekend was a busy one for us.  We had my Sister in Law and her daughter visiting from New Brunswick, from Thursday until Monday, and we all went to our niece’s wedding on Saturday night.   It was a beautiful day for the wedding and my niece was a gorgeous bride!  I will try to have some pics of the event soon.  If you recall, this was the wedding that I made all those invites for?! Here’s the card I made for the Crafty Creation challenge last week, yes I’m a week overdue now and don’t have a card for this week’s challenge at all, sorry!! Last week’s challenge was a lovely sketch by Jeanet.   A few notes about this card…my good friend Peggy and my sweet blogging friend Rosana helped this card come together by way of their generous gifts!  I received the lovely bird cage stamp set from Peggy recently, and the very cool brass feather hardware from Rosana a while …

Clean and Simple Halloween

I made a CAS Halloween card today inspired by a card from Alimarbles gallery on SCS (Ali Manning).  She is the Featured Stamper today and has such a wonderful style! I kept her clean and simple design, but made a Halloween card instead of a Valentine.  The ribbon loop can hold a tootsie roll or rocket candy roll as a quick Halloween treat for a teacher or classmate. Thanks for stopping by!! Deena
