Skipping Along

Spring is finally here!! It really is!  It has been so nice, we had a lovely warm weekend with lots of sun and only a little rain!   This is my favourite time of year!

This week at Crafty Creations we have a paper piecing challenge!  Jenni provided us with some really sweet images to work with too, so I had a lot of fun with this one!  Not that I don’t always have fun…but you know what I mean! lol

I cut out this adorable skipping girl and paper pieced her dress, and colored the rest of  her with copics. I thought it would bring some dimension to the card to add the blue cord for the skipping rope.  The paper is covered in words about spring and summer; I love it!  The finished card is 4 1/4″ square.
