Want to focus on one lovely element? All you have to do is frame it! The challenge at Crafty Creations this week is just that. So, here I’ve cut a frame using my Cricut, and put the focus on our sponsor’s lovely circle frame butterfly image. Stamp: Vintage Goodies #14 set from Create With TLC It wasn’t my group’s week to play in the challenge, but I couldn’t help myself! I love the image! I used Cricut Fancy Frames cartridge Frame 7, fussy cut the digi image and added dew drops. Eh Voila! I love it! Here’s a fun digital hybrid card! I used JBarrette’s Totally Rad Birthday papers and elements to put this together with My Memories Software. The scrap kit is available at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I printed the card, cupcake and tag elements, cut out and popped up the cupcake and used a white card stock base. The french sentiment is from Bonnidee stamps . Challenge: Crafty Cardmakers – for the boys By the way, my Digis are on sale at A Creative Need right now for 30% off!! Use coupon code NEWDISCOUNT at checkout and it will automatically be applied. Have a creative day! Deena
I recently made a bunch of birthday cards and since they were for coworkers in my husband’s office, I thought this would be a fun theme to go with. I added little paper tabs on the right of the loose leaf paper, popped up the sentiment and stamped some sweet little balloons on the paper. The banners across the bottom are a fun twist instead of across the top as you might expect! What do you think? I’m having a SALE on my digi stamps over on ETSY! Go grab them while they are 30% OFF for the weekend! The discount code is “NEWDISCOUNT” at checkout.

Hello friends! Are you as done with this wet, cold weather that is a sorry excuse for Spring, as I am?? I am so ready for warm sunny, happier days! There isn’t that much to smile about on days like these it seems. But I am trying! I rely on my creative side to pull me through dreary times and lately I’ve had good reason to seek shelter in my creative corner. It helps me center myself so I can stop worrying about everything that trouble me, and focus my energy on more useful and less negative emotions. I didn’t think I would get much done, but the ‘doing’ is important even if it doesn’t always produce tangible results. Sometimes the process is what it’s all about! Anyway, I did draw three new images and even pushed myself to try a new method to my madness art. I usually draw the old fashioned way, with pencil and paper, then scan the image to my computer and ‘clean’ it up digitally. This is …
It’s a Mother’s Day challenge theme at Crafty Creations this week. We hope you’ll come and join us! San’s Designs is our sponsor and I’ve used her Strawberry Cake image on this digi hybrid card I made. The image is colored with copics and I’ve added my favourite crinkled seam binding for bows in the corners of the banner and across the bottom of the card. The background papers are from a digital kit by Jady Day Studio at the Sweet Shoppe. Have a look at what the rest of the DT made using San’s great images HERE. Thanks for stopping by! Deena
