I had fun blending the imagery, using different elements as a reflection on how I was feeling on my birthday this year…contemplating the passing of time, life and my own journey through it. We’re visiting Japan with the ART JOURNAL CARAVAN and I was prompted to use a Haiku and made my own. This page came to be with a lot of symbolism behind it. The bird in this page represents how time flies, the crane with the woman represents the desire for eternal youth(of mind), happiness and wisdom, the words in between represent a fragment of my life lived and the symbol for optimism represents my struggles and pursuit of well being. Hello!! This month with Art Journal Caravan we are visiting JAPAN! I find something about this destination very thought provoking and inspiring! Tangie Baxter has created another fascinating parcel/kit to create with as well and this is my first journal page for March/Japan! But I will definitely be creating more!
