I’ve created the sentiment using My Memories Suite Software‘s word art feature. I replaced the O with my ACN CHRISTMAS WREATH image, and embossed the whole panel with a Cuttlebug Holly Ribbons folder. I love the festive look the embossing gives this simple card! This CAS card is accented with 4 scored lines across the top, and colored in traditional red and green, the SPRIG OF HOLLY takes the spotlight and finishes with a simple sentiment. Not much more to explain here right?! I do so love a simply festive card! I colored the image using airbrushes in COREL Painter Essentials 4. My hand drawn digitized image SPRIG OF HOLLY is available at A Creative Need Etsy. The sentiment is computer generated. Have you noticed that I love to make CAS cards? Well I do!! Today’s CAS card made me laugh, and I hope it will make you smile too! The inside sentiment reads: I’m so sorry I missed your birthday! The image is one of my own ACN digis now available in my SHOP. I created the sentiment using My Memories Software and printed the card front. It’s popped up using dimensional tape on a red panel and mounted to a white card base. When I think of Autumn colors I think golden hues, rustic reds, burnt oranges, browns and beiges. Warm colors for a cool season! Crafty Creations Challenge theme this week is AUTUMN COLORS. I was missing my friends from CCC and thought I’d join in the challenge this week. I went a little shabby chic with this one, adding a ragged lace trim ribbon in cream, some gold drops in a scattered formation, and a rich red ribbon which also qualifies this card for the A Creative Need challenge this month which is RIBBONS or BUTTONS! 🙂 A kraft base seemed appropriate for these colors and the tag is stamped in Memento rich brown.
