Hello friends! Trying to keep a little one happy and occupied during this time is not always easy, but don’t panic, there are many wonderful resources out there! One of my favourites for all ages is National Geographic. Take a look, they’ve curated a page of links to project based resources for K-12 kids and adults young at heart! I saw a darling bunny poking around in our backyard a few days ago and I was inspired! Spring is coming folks, and sunnier days ahead, so stay strong, positive and looking forward. I created a little bunny image that I hope you’ll agree is cute, cute cute! I’m offering it as a free download for your children to colour. Please feel free to download and print one or several…play is good for our health and happiness! Pass it on! 8×8 Bunny Colouring Page

Easter is on it’s way and I thought it would be fun to have some decorations for the table! I used my handy dandy Cricut Expression to cut the template for the basket. (Easter cartridge 2010 on a 12″ x 12″ sheet set to fit to page) The eggs are cut from the same. I used Martha Stewart playful blue dp for the basket and some Crate paper to decorate. (grass, eggs) The little felt butterfly and flowers were a gift from my friend Peggy, (The Nutty Cardmaker) thanks sweetie! This took about 15 minutes to make! Love it!! The final dimension:Cut: Fit to Page feature button ON – 12 x 12″ paper = 4 1/2″ wide, 3 1/2″ deep , 3 1/4″ high not counting handle. Handle adds 2 1/2″ to the height. I tied crinkled seam binding in eggshell blue to the top of the handle for a finishing touch! Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day! Today’s color challenge at Splitcoastamper’s was one of my favourites! We had to use two shades of blue and a light celery green. Yes, blues and greens are my favourite colors! I chose to use a lovely Easter basket from Flourishes Signs of Spring. The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! (All Holidays). I received a package in the mail today containing this lovely crinkled seam binding. I was so happy it arrived in time for this challenge! I bought it on ETSY from Pink Planet Craft . Thanks so much for stopping by and have a creative day! Deena
This little bird and sentiment are Flourishes stamps, stamped in vintage photo ink on soft blue card stock. The edges are sponged as well for a vintage inspired look. They are strung with paper cord in a dark chocolate. The Easter tags below are stamped with Stampin’ Up! stamps on vanilla cardstock with rich cocoa ink and sponged around the edges with Ranger Distress broken china ink. The sun is out but it’s still quite cold here in Montreal…I’m so looking forward to warmer Spring days! Thanks so much for stopping by! You know I enjoy your company! 😉 Deena

You’ll find it HERE. The tutorial for the envelope gift bag is HERE, and the full post with a tutorial link for the Easter basket is HERE.
