New Digital Stamps and a Giveaway!

March is always a sweet month for me, with my birthday celebration on the 2nd, and the promise of Spring in the air! Now I want to share the celebrations with you!  I think the new ACN release brings some sweet treats for everyone.  As in keeping with my blog and shop name, A Creative Need, I am always trying to think of ways to satisfy everyone’s needs!  I love drawing and designing and I work hard to create new images that card makers, crafters, mixed media artists and scrappers will enjoy using in their own unique way!   I hope these will please you.  I am always open to suggestions and ideas from my creative and crafty friends! 🙂 So, I have thought to sell some of my digital images as sets! An economical way to purchase digital images, as with anything, buying in bulk is often the way to go!  I’ve made available a complete set of digital stamps for less than you would  pay if you were to purchase each image individually. …

It’s Game On! with a FREEBIE Designer Pack

I’m pitchin’ in for Peggy this week as she started a new job and is extremely busy! So I hosted this week’s Crafty Creations Challenge for Team Two and had time to join in by making a card too! I’ve used my NEW IMAGE: “Pitchin’ In” that I am releasing today in my A Creative Need SHOP. I made a HYBRID card using my new MY MEMORIES SUITE software to create everything except the kraft background and base card.  The baseball and the bat are stickers and I’ve wrapped baker’s twine around the left edge. I used a  My Memories Suite designer pack to create the digital elements of this card!  It was easy: I opened the MyMemories Suite software and chose my album size (I chose 4″ x 6″ for a printable card project).  I  clicked on Embellishments, ADD, ‘browse others’ to open my downloaded  designer pack. I added the papers and elements I wanted to use to create my card, and when I was finished, I clicked: SHARE ALBUM ====> EXPORT PAGES and saved …

My Memories Suite Software Review and Giveaway

Hi!  I’m excited about sharing this with you today!   I have not done much scrapbooking in the past, aside from a few pages when my boys were babies.  I found that it took too much of my time.  Anyone with me on that point?  I found that card making gave me  instant gratification for my creative needs and I kind of gave up on scrapbooking.  I always felt bad about it though, since I have all these fabulous photos that I am not doing anything with!  They can’t all be framed and hung on a wall right?! So, with that said, when I was asked to review the digital scrapbooking software My Memories Suite, I saw it as a great opportunity to see if  digital scrapbooking would be a faster and easier option for me than traditional scrapbooking. I have not  previously used digital scrapbooking software, other than playing around with Photoshop (which I was mostly frustrated with), and I found My Memories Suite to be very intuitive and user friendly by design.  I …
