  I’ve used My Memories Suite Software to create this square card for a little Halloween fun!  My boys went out and brought home lots of goodies…which I’m munching on now….Ssshh!!  Don’t tell and they’ll never miss it! The background is a free vintage paper I picked up and I’ve used elements from MMS including the little witch- Goosebumps designer pack from the Design Club. I’m entering this in the CRITTER SKETCH CHALELNGE (color challenge), and the THE SISTERHOOD OF CRAFTERS (halloween)

This is the final version of the SCS PROGRESSIVE PAGE Challenge!  This is a fun 4 week challenge to create a page by following challenge guidelines, adding new elements each week of the month.   It’s the first time I’ve played along…and I had a blast! The page is of my son and it’s a memento of the afternoon we spent at Jude Pomme apple orchard with our friends.   I created a little tag with the name of the orchard on it so I wouldn’t forget it.   I’m really happy with how this turned out! Autumn’s Face

I created this page for CASE FILE NO. 41 .   I just discovered CSI;  it’s a weekly challenge that inspires scrappers to create with new color schemes and tell their personal stories.  I loved the inspiration of this case file!  The colors are not those I would ordinarily turn to, but are so gorgeous together!  And here’s a little secret; I kind of liked this photo of myself, which is a rare thing!  I was happy and having fun apple picking with my boys and some good friends, so that is in large part why I like it!  Also, Autumn is my second least favorite season, but in making this page I realized that I don’t actually dislike it as much as I thought.  As in the quote above…there is a certain grace about it. I followed the color scheme, using all the colors, and I’ve left behind the evidence too, in the form of layered textures, a delicate overlay and a ‘ruffled’ border strip.  For my testimony I added a journaling tag with …

Autumn is here!! It’s getting cooler and the leaves are starting to change.  We took a drive through the ski hills of Saint Sauveur and the changing leaves were gorgeous! This week at Crafty Creations we are making AUTUMN  themed cards and it’s perfect timing since it’s a My Memories Weekend with some awesome digital Autumn kits available! Back to School!

Didn’t the summer go by too quickly!??  It flew by for us! I can hardly believe that my boys are already back in school and either do they.  I wish I could have had just a couple more weeks…<sigh> But there is a positive side to everything I guess…it may just give me a little more time in my craft room! I’ve made a card for this week’s Crafty Creations challenge.  The theme if you haven’t already guessed is BACK TO SCHOOL! 🙂 I’ve used an image from Robyn’s Fetish as they are sponsoring the challenge this week.   This boy reminds me of mine as they are both computer savvy and spend a lot of time playing all kinds of games as well as doing projects and research during the school year.  I’ve use My Memories Suite software to create the paper background including the smily face, a +, and paperclips at the bottom.  I printed and copic colored the image, and attached the red paperclip.  I’ve used kraft cardstock on white cs for …

As the school year is coming to an end, I have been making a few thank you cards for the teachers.  My boys had a good year, just how good is yet to be determined with Friday’s report cards! I used MMS ($10. oo Off MMS if you use my coupon code: STMMMS31200) to design the dp, adding the smiley face and a+, pencil and paper clips, but you get the idea, this can be done with stamps too of course!  The mat is Kraft cardstock on a deep red cardstock base.  I added the red paper clip at top right.  Inside is stamped with a thank you! CAS Floral Birthday

I just came back from a fun dinner with friends.  We had tacos and wine for dinner, and sat outside around a fire toasting marshmallows for our kids.  Good times!  I brought over a few crafting goodies for their 11 year old daughter as she expressed some interest in my cards and cardmaking, so I’m hoping she’ll have fun with it. I thought I’d share this really easy CAS card with you – great for a birthday or change up the sentiment for just about any occasion!  I used flowers from the Daydreamer digital kit by DigiScrapDelights, and designed the layout using My Memories Suite Software.  You could use any floral stamps to do this but I love being on my laptop anywhere, anytime just designing what I want and then printing it when I’m ready.  I just stamped the sentiment after I printed it, and added some gems to finish it off.   Just what I needed!  Use this code for $10. off: STMMMS31200 MMS is so much easier to use than photoshop or corel and …
