Clearly A Birthday Card

I love the limited supply challenge!   Maybe it’s because I like to keep things simple.  I have probably said this before, but I’m saying it again. Simplicity is beautiful to me.  I strive for it.  I am a perfectionist at heart, (I see it as a downfall) and I am a conflicted, complicated person too, just ask my husband! 🙂  A huge part of why I love him so is because he helps simplify my life.  He calms me.  No mind games, no complex ideas of rearranging the world,  just keeping it real.  Simplicity is so important to me.  Life is complicated enough without making it more so, don’t you think?   But before I end up  talking philosophy, I better get to my card!   The limited supplies list was one base of cardstock and no other card stock.  Some decorative papers, and limited embellishments.  Simple, but with impact nevertheless.  At least I think so.   Hopefully you agree!   Have a look… I was inspired by the Flourishes Focus today.  Laura was talking about Crystal Clear …

Easter Basket Envy! A Tutorial…!

Easy Easter Envelope “Thou shalt not covet..” your neighbor’s Easter basket?? O.K. I’m not actually talking about that kind of envy…but rather an ‘envy’ lope! Because this little basket is made from an ordinary, everyday envelope! Since Easter is next weekend, I thought some of you might appreciate a quick gift for the kids or even a co-worker! Some of you pros out there could probably whip this one up on your break in the supply room! lol SCS had a recent challenge to make these fun envelope bags.
