The Cutest Little Baby Face

I could never resist taking a photo of my boys fresh out of the bath with a hooded towel over their sweet little heads!  This image was inspired by these memories. Ah,  If only they didn’t grow up quite so fast! I’ve made a digital hybrid card using my newest image “Baby Face”.  My niece is due in in July and we’re having a baby shower for her in May so I made this for  her.  They are having a boy (sure hope so since she painted the room blue now! lol)The N is for Nolan, the name they chose for their baby.  I don’t think she’s ever on my blog so this should be safe to post! Details:  All design elements and paper : Serenity Garden by Dancing Princess Designs (digital kit at My Memories) Accessories: Dew drops, wrinkled seam binding (Etsy) The theme and idea for the card was  inspired by the the My Memories Blog challenge:  An inspiration quote: “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even …

Squigglefly Sketch

This week Heather’s Headliners is challenging us to make some fun cards using Heather’s sketch and I thought I’d play along even though it isn’t my week for the DT samples.  I couldn’t resist! I used one of  Marlene’s new images available at  Squigglefly called “ Nerdy Boy Santa“.  I colored him with copics in colors similar to the background dp.  The dp is  Cosmo Cricket ‘Jolly by Golly’, and I matted it with Bazzill red, and white card stock.  The sentiment is Studio g. Join in the challenge at Squigglefly and don’t forget to use one of Squigglefly’s many fabulous images (you’ll find some of mine there too) for your chance to win a prize! Have a creative day! Just a quick note to let you know that there are new images up at Squigglefly…including three of my own. 🙂 Marlene has 6 totally adorable new images up for Halloween!  I was not so on the ball with the whole ‘in keeping with the season’ thing!  My images are more about the everyday moments I guess.   I will have more ‘timely’ images soon though!   I have just finished sketching some Autumn themed images; I’ll share those just as soon as I can! I was thinking of ways that we might use these, and thought that they would be sweet additions to some scrapbook pages…of course I don’t scrapbook (one of a long list of unchecked things to do!) So I am counting on some of you scrappers to let me know what you think, and share your ideas!   I will be using these on my cards of course…already have lots of ideas for those, (just never enough time)  but I’m always happy to hear yours too!!  These new images are available at  …
