I colored it with copics and kept it simple following a sketch from the Featured Stamper on SCS this week.  Linda’s pretty card can be seen at SCS.  The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up! ( Country Life), stamped in peeled paint distress ink. CHALLENGES I am entering: Less is More– CAS anything goes Make it Monday– always anything goes (linky party) I’m so glad you …

Cherish Blue Bird Tags

I’m making some new tags, and thought these would be lovely for a wedding wish tree or as a gift tag for a bridal shower or wedding gift.  The bird is a Unity Stamp and the sentiment is from Stampin’ Up!   Each tag is tied with 8 inches of baby blue paper cord  from fastrunningfox.  They measure 1 3/4″  x  2 3/4″. Find these and more in my SHOP !

Featured Stamper Distressed Texture

This card was inspired by the Featured Stamper (Terri A.k.a Die cut diva) today on SCS. I used Distress crackle paint, applying it to the kraft cs to get a textured cracked surface.  Then, I stamped various flowers, the  brick wall, and splatters on the 2″ x 2″ squares.  The squares are mounted on a 4.25″ bermuda bay panel of cardstock.  The finished card is 4.5″ square.  The bird is from 7gypsies clear stamps, cut out and popped up on  dimensional foam tape.

Primarily Masculine Birthday

This was made for my own challenge to make a birthday card using light bright primary colors.  I had a hunch that these colors would work well for  a more masculine birthday card.  After all, most men are just boys in man sized bodies! 😉  They are kids at heart! I used this multi stripe dp from Cosmo Cricket called GET HAPPY. I stamped the VOILA! chef from SU!, colored his cuffs, pants and necktie in bright colors, and popped up his chef’s hat on dimensional foam dots.   The sentiment says “Happy Birthday” in french.  I added two black brads and voila!  What do you think?  Does it work for a masculine birthday? Show me how you use your primary colors on a birthday card and leave me a link in this CHALLENGE POST ! Have a creative day everyone! Deena

Together Forever Wedding Shower Card

Hello!! I hope you are all enjoying the summer so far!  There’s been some record high heat in many areas, so I hope everyone is keeping cool and hydrated! I made this card for my niece, her wedding shower is this Sunday!  I used the SCS sketch challenge to bring this toghether.  The dp is lovely Juliette s.e.i paper, so shimmery and pretty, a gift from my friend Peggy!  I  used Bittersweet Basic Grey paper for the first layer.   I added more shimmer with my Sakura gelly roll pen on the cake and sentiment.  The flower is punched from crepe paper and colored with copics, and finished off with a sparkle brad. Stamps: Stampin’ Up! Fun and Fast Notes Accessories: oval punch, scallop oval punch, corner rounder punch, flower punches, brad, Cricut Accent Essentials cartridge (circle), Copics: R11, R20, YG91, Sakura gelly roll gold pen CHALLENGE INSPIRED: SCS sketch C.R.A.F.T challenge: cakes/ice cream Thanks for stopping by today!!
