Hello my kind friends! Have you been creative? Have you been good to yourselves and allowed yourselves time to imagine/create/paint/sketch/write/design something YOU love? It’s so important to do this you know! You need to let go of all the reasons why you can’t create and give yourself permission to do what you love for a few hours a week! Put everything else aside, it’s o.k. really!! You will see! It’s a very LOUD world. You need to make a choice to turn it all off sometimes. You will benefit from it immensely and you will find that the rest of your week will be all the better for it! Do it for yourself.
I gave myself time this week to make a MIXED MEDIA Digital Collage piece…and loved every minute of it! I used my digital image “Feathered Friend”. This was a joyful piece to work on for our Textures and/or Patterns CHALLENGE this month, and I loved layering, gessoing and painting over the papers! I hope you can see this through the photo.
Gail is also sharing with us. Here is her beautiful card to inspire us this week, filled with textures and patterns! She embossed the background and used several layers of textured/patterned papers to mat the lovely coloured Lilacs image, tied it all together with a textured ribbon, and added a comforting sentiment in the corner. Just gorgeous, don’t you agree?!
I hope you will join us in the Challenge! You have lots of time left until the end of the month. Have fun, enjoy your time and make something you love! Don’t forget to pick up my FREE IMAGE!
Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day!

Hello again! Did you miss me? I apologize for not posting more regularly, but it’s been a busy summer. My boys are going back to school this week and I am a little sad of it. The summer flew by and I will miss the long warm days and not having a schedule or routine. I’m sure we will adapt again quickly to the bagged lunches, rushed mornings, and homework routines!
As summer is waning, I know many of you are still working in the garden and enjoying those late summer blooms and trying to rejuvenate others. These images are for you, I hope you enjoy them! This is the best way I have found to enjoy the garden as I do not have a green thumb!

Hello! I’m back from an all too short vacation! But, I’ve missed you all!! :)
I do have an exciting announcement to make… I am now making some of my prints and patterns available on different products at Society6! I’m super nervous about this but I’ve taken the plunge!
My MINI MUSHROOM VILLAGE cards are now available as sets of 3, 5 or 10 at SOCIETY6! They will be printed and shipped to your door!
You can see more of what I have in store at Society6 HERE. Let me know what you think…I’m being very selective as to what I will make available there so you will not see the same things as in my ACNPrintable Art Etsy shop. Let me know if you are looking for a particular pattern or image for a product and I’ll see what I can do. Thank you! Your feedback, comments and support are so very much appreciated.

I’ve been using my baby elephant digital image in different ways, and here is the latest result….a mixed media print.
I painted and distressed a background in blue, teal and oatmeal to create my paper…
added in my blue bird and stencil stenciled in my elephant using a digital stencil I created from my original drawing…
then I painted in some of my long stem florals that you may have seen used a few weeks back in my Long Stem Floral Digital Paper Pack.
I gave a print of this to my friend’s 3 year old daughter who just loved it! I’m quite sure the next time I go over it will be up on her bedroom wall and she will take me by hand to see it! :)
Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day!
