First Birthday

We celebrated my Great Nephew’s 1st birthday last weekend!  He is so adorable!!  I thought I’d show you the card I made for him with a little help from My Memories Software.

This is actually a ONE LAYER card, but I’ve used shadowing to help create the look of layers.  I also added 3 gems for some sparkle.

And here is the little prince with his cake!

June Images are here!

Flourishes are so fun to use and are fabulous for creating borders and frames!  I LOVE how LISA and MARIA used the flourishes to do just that on their DT cards this month!!  Have a look, and I’m sure you’ll agree on the gorgeous results they had! Hello!!   Do you ever feel like you’re just not being heard?  Well….that’s how I must have felt when I made this card…It must have been sometime after having told my son to put something away for the umpteenth time!!

My favorite flowers are ORCHIDS.  In any color.  I think they have an elegant and seductive quality about them, don’t you?  I was in the mood for something pretty today and colored my Orchids in shades of pink lilac.

Simple Retro Father’s Day

A MAD MEN inspired RETRO Father’s Day image and card for our ACN ‘For the men’ challenge.  I kept it fun and simple with retro circles in orange, green and brown accents.  I designed the background and added the RETRO MAN image into a circle using My Memories Software.

Call Me Maybe? Digital Greeting Card

I had fun making this retro style CAS card using my RETRO PHONE digital image available at CAN YOU DIGI IT?!  This  CARD is also available in my ACN ETSY shop. 

 

I colored the image with my digital brushes in Corel and made the card using MY MEMORIES SOFTWARE.  MMS is an amazing software; affordable, easy to use and available worldwide!! I am using it now for all my digital cardmaking and scrapping!
