A Photo Inspiration Challenge

Crafty Creations Challenge this week is a PHOTO INSPIRATION challenge that my teammate Bernie suggested!  It’s a lovely festive photo that inspired me to use the colors and celebratory theme in my card. Here’s what I was inspired to make…I also used two types of RIBBON  to qualify for the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge! It runs all month long, so check it out! I used a Unity stamp colored with copics,  a Kaiser craft sentiment and some lovely new Echo Park Springtime paper.  I added the sheer wired ribbon for embellishment. Come join us at Crafty Creations for this week’s challenge! Thanks for stopping by;  it’s great to see you here and I am so happy to be finding some time (and being inspired) to craft!! Hugs, Deena

Heartfelt Birthday Wishes

I did a short review of My Memories Suite digital scrapbooking software in my last post if you would like to know more about the software and what it can do.  There’s still time to enter my giveaway for your own chance to win My Memories Suite V. 3 software!  See the previous post to enter. I used elements from the free digital kit Smooches: Flowers and hearts papers, and included with the software: quilted memories paper in rose. The clothespin is an element added in from the novelty embellishments. So fun! I used the heartland font that I downloaded free HERE for the birthday sentiment. I did my best to use the shadow feature which really helps to create depth and dimension to the objects.  I love this fabulous feature, and with a little more practice I’m sure it will be a very effective tool. I’m so glad you stopped by today and as always, if …
