Free Digital Bunny Colouring Page

Hello friends! Trying to keep a little one happy and occupied during this time is not always easy, but don’t panic, there are many wonderful resources out there! One of my favourites for all ages is National Geographic. Take a look, they’ve curated a page of links to project based resources for K-12 kids and adults young at heart! I saw a darling bunny poking around in our backyard a few days ago and I was inspired! Spring is coming folks, and sunnier days ahead, so stay strong, positive and looking forward. I created a little bunny image that I hope you’ll agree is cute, cute cute! I’m offering it as a free download for your children to colour. Please feel free to download and print one or several…play is good for our health and happiness! Pass it on! 8×8 Bunny Colouring Page

Embellishing Challenge

If you know me me at all, you know that I do not use a lot of embellishing on my projects.  I like to keep things simple! But that is not to say that I don’t appreciate seeing all the gorgeous projects created with clusters of perfect embellies!! I really do admire you crafters that can transform your projects in such a way that the embellies don’t overwhelm the rest of the creation.  I  can’t seem to do that, so I keep it simple.   So even today’s card for our Crafty Creations Challenge is simply adorned.  But it does have the required embellishments.  I used three gems and a lovely silk ribbon bow as my embellishments, and used a punched circle tag for the sentiment. MY HEART PIECES is the sponsor this week and I’ve use one of Priyanka’s lovely images.  (Birthday Girl) The papers are lilybeedesign (This & That). Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful, creative day!  Deena

Inspired Artisans: Debi (The Purple Table)

Happy Friday everyone!   I want to introduce and welcome Debi to our Inspired Artisans Friday Feature!  Tell us a little about yourself…   I live with my three pug dogs in northern VA, right outside of the DC Metro area.  I’ve always been interested in Art and anything that would allow creative expression .  I’m usually the one that volunteers “I can make that for you”.  My interests are varied and include interior design, photography, painting, and papercrafts. Last year my son who lives in Boston got engaged.  He and his fiance wanted to create some tile “save the dates” they had seen online and they wanted me to help make them.  While searching for supplies in the local craft store I re-discovered rubber stamps and my life hasn’t been the same since.  After that project, I made a guest book for their wedding, then some tags, then domino art, then one card, then another, and another…..you get the idea. My rubber stamp collection/addiction has since grown to an enormeous size, so I opened my Etsy …

Music/Dance Crafty Creations Challenge

This week Melissa has set her very first Crafty Creations challenge and is asking for a MUSIC OR DANCE related theme for our creations!  I decided to make a votive candle cover (battery operated NOT flame).  The digital image and paper are from the fabulous TIDDLY INKS, our sponsor this week! I printed the dp, then put it through the printer a second time to add in this sweet fairy(Fairy Fae catches a Star).  I colored her with my copics, and added some dazzling diamond glitter (Stampin’ Up!) to her wings and some of the stars in her hair.  I also added a tiny turquoise gem in her hair.  The sentiment is from Verve (Wild Thing) and makes me think of the song “Every little thing she does is Magic” by the Police. I simply folded the paper in thirds to create a somewhat triangular tube, keeping  a half inch edge at the back to secure it shut with some 1/4″ tacky tape.  I punched a heart shape on all three sides to let some …

Home Decor Desktop Calendar

Flourishes has lovely digital calendar pages.  Seeing as it was the end of January and I needed a calendar for my craft room, I decided to download them to make a desktop calendar project.  I decorated  this quite quickly and simply with my new Cricut Home Décor cartridge.  But you don’t need a Cricut to make the calendar!  It’s an easel style base so it can be easily opened and closed; I can leave it standing on my desk or pop it in my purse!  It’s compact at 41/4 x 41/4!  If you would like to make one too, I ‘ve written a full picture tutorial you can see HERE at CUSTOM CROPS.  I hope you enjoy it! As always, if you have any questions or comments I am happy to hear them!  Thanks for stopping by! Tonight at midnight I will post the first of three challenge sample cards for Flourishes!! Yippeee!!! They are having a celebration for their 1 year anniversary of Timeless Tuesday Challenges and invited me to make some samples for …

CAS Love

A clean and simple card for the CAS challenge on SCS.  We simply had to use designer paper.  I used this pretty new S.E.I dp that has a beautiful shimmer to it.  The love sentiment is cut with the Cricut from the Home Decor cartridge. Don’t forget tomorrow is our Crafty Creations Challenge BLOG HOP!!  I hope you’ll all stop by and say hello!  The hop starts at Crafty Creations challenge blog and I’ll be a hop along the way!

Halloween Treats

Jaime has set the challenge over at Crafty Creations today and she is inviting us all to join in on… ALL HALLOWS EVE So pull out your spooky crafting goodies and stop by Crafty Creations to see  some monstrously amazing Halloween creations from the rest of the team! I made a sweet treats bag and will have to make about 40 of these I figure, for my boy’s classmates at school.   The top part is made in my cuttlebug using the labels one nestabilities die.  I layered the dp on black card stock, folded and stapled it to the top of a mini zip lock bag.  I punched two size ovals using my SU! punches and stamped the Happy Halloween sentiment in tangerine ink on vanilla cardstock.  I stamped a little SU! pumpkin, and a studio g dangling spider in the vanilla circle.   These were adhered to the bag with dimensional foam adhesive. I’m so happy you stopped by today!!  I always enjoy your company 😉 !!
