Welcome to our June CHALLENGE. This will be the last challenge here on A Creative Need. The time has come to change things up a bit, but I’m not going away! I will continue to post my art and digital images for the A Creative Need shop. I will do my best to supply you with creative inspiration and free images too! It’s time for our MAY CHALLENGE: Favourite Moments with Mom (or a Mother figure in your life) Think of special moments with your Mom, from your childhood or adult life. Maybe you remember baking cookies, family dinners, travelling, or walks in the park, soccer practice, or bedtime stories. Whatever it is that brings back happy memories for you should be what you work into your project for this month. HOW you work it in is up to you! Just let it be the inspiration for your project. April’s Creative Challenge: Collage it!
This month we are challenging you to make a collage! Interpret ‘collage’ as you see fit… Simply put, collage refers to an assemblage of parts such as paper or other materials that are glued or applied to a substrate (canvas, paper, wood etc.) I’ve made you a short 1:25 minute timelapse video to show you how I used my mixed media painted flowers to create my collage piece. I’ve listed the supplies at the end of the video. You can make your own flowers by visiting the FREEBIES page for the download.
