Trick or Treat?!

It’s one day away from Halloween…just enough time to get some last minute treat bags made for my boys!  I used mostly scraps for this project, and turned some ENVELOPES into mini bags with a few simple scores and folds. 1. Seal the envelope (I used an A2 sized envelope) and score both long sides at 1/2″  and one short side at 1/2″.   Cut across the top with decorative scissors. 2. Score the corner on the diagonal and then fold all score lines back and forth a couple of times to make sure they are not stiff.  This will help you get the shape you want when you open it up into a bag. 3. Put your hand in the opening (like a sock puppet)  to push open the bag/envelope and with your other hand push flat the bottom and pinch the side fold flaps.  Glue these little flaps down with strong adhesive or red line tape to the bottom of the bag. 4. Crease your sides, by pushing middle line inwards and pinching …

The Littlest Witch

Hi everyone! This week, Melissa has asked us to take a color combo challenge;  we must use RED, BROWN and GREEN in our cards or projects. I have today’s Crafty Creations challenge card made and I felt so bad about not getting last week’s done (numbers) that I’ve combined it with this week’s new challenge!   Stitchy Bear Stamps is the sponsor for Crafty Creations challenge this week and I was able to use this adorable witch image.  I’m certain she will grow up to be a’good witch’ :)!  I colored her with Copics  and used core impressions texture card stock in green to back the main panels.  The decorative paper is Basic Grey.  I added a Basic Grey red button with some brown thread for  a bit of added interest.  The 31 is cut using my cricut expression with the Happy Hauntings cartridge. That’s it for today, have a good one and thanks for stopping by!! Deena
