Wise Words Challenge

Crafty Creations challenge this week is WISE WORDS – use a quote or saying in our creations!  Simple enough!  I decided to use a Christmas quote as I am still making my Christmas cards. I’ve designed my card using My Memories Suite, adding in snowflakes and my Vintage Holiday Mailbox.   I’ve colored the ribbon in Christmas red, and added a little sparkle to the snowflakes.  I thought this quote by Marjorie Holmes was appropriate to the season, as well as the image! Hi friends, This post is for you CRICUT lovers!  A cheery little cup of tea for the holidays! You’ll find this project in the  Cricut Craft Room Project Center and you can download the cut file for free!  All the detailed instructions are there too. (Accent Essentials and A Child’s Year cartridges used for this project)  This is so simple and quick to make for those last minute little gifts for friends and family, teachers, and neighbors. Plenty of room on the back to write a thoughtful sentiment too!  It can easily hold a gift card instead of the two teabags if you prefer!  What I love about this little cup is that it stands on it’s own thanks to the ‘saucer’ under it!  Let me know what you think of this project and I’d love to know if you try it too! Hi!  Do you want to see what the A Creative Need design team came up with for this month’s challenge theme inspirations?  I bet you do!! They really got into the Holiday spirit to bring you these fun creations for the RIBBON and BOWS Challenge… Nazneen hung Candy Cane Stockings with care!!  Isn’t this a sweet wintery scene?! SOMA  made this sparkling card full of festive details and glittering colors! Candy Cane Christmas Stocking Corrinne made her beautiful card in non traditional Christmas colors and added lots of gorgeous texture! Peggy has made two cards using both the ‘Vintage Holiday Mailbox’ image and ‘Candy Cane Christmas Stocking‘!  I absolutely love the sparkle and snow she’s added around the mailbox and the lovely ribbon border on her stocking card! As for me, I’ve made a card with my Christmas Candy image, and designed it using My Memories Software.  I’ve used some  festive papers and added a ‘sweet’ sentiment. 🙂 I hope  you’ll join us with your creations for the Ribbons and Bows challenge! It’s snowing here in Montreal!  Well, it’s melting at the same time so no white fluffy stuff on the ground yet, but I’ll bet there will be more than we would wish for very soon!  This week’s Crafty Creations Challenge is to create a WINTER SCENE!  Join in with your winter creations HERE! I made a CAS card using my new A Creative Need ‘Holiday Door’ image available at C.Y.D.I on Friday. A little sponging around the .png image which prints in this circular fashion, and a dash of red for the bow! December New Releases and CHALLENGE with FREEBIE

Happy December to you!  Christmas is right around the corner and I am making my wish list….I need a new washer/dryer and a new refrigerator! Do you think they will fit in Santa’s bag??  🙂 Yup, just in time for Christmas my dryer has decided it doesn’t want to dry. It likes things damp and cold!  Apparently it’s well suited for this coming winter!  It seems that my refrigerator isn’t quite as enthusiastic about the cold though! 😦  No matter, I’ve been a good girl this year and I think Santa will treat me kindly. So what’s on your wish list? More exciting and interesting things than appliances I hope! I have been busy with my drawing and happily I have new images to share with you. Here are the new images for your December crafting!   I hope you like the vintage inspired HOLIDAY MAILBOX and CHRISTMAS STOCKING, and we couldn’t celebrate the holidays without some CHRISTMAS CANDY could we?!   And for those ‘expecting’ more than Christmas wishes this year…we have the cutest …
