April’s Creative Challenge: Collage it!
This month we are challenging you to make a collage! Interpret ‘collage’ as you see fit… Simply put, collage refers to an assemblage of parts such as paper or other materials that are glued or applied to a substrate (canvas, paper, wood etc.) I’ve made you a short 1:25 minute timelapse video to show you how I used my mixed media painted flowers to create my collage piece. I’ve listed the supplies at the end of the video. You can make your own flowers by visiting the FREEBIES page for the download. APRIL New Release Digi Stamps!
These are a few of the new ACN images for SPRING… and I can tell that I was so dreaming of Spring when I drew them! I’ve also been playing with paper patterns, coloring, staining and aging a beautiful vintage floral pattern. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Here are a few mini VALENTINES that I made this week… I’ve made my own paper for these minis… you can see them all below. SPONGE DOTS 6×6 digital paper pack Making digital papers is something new that I’ve been working on. I enjoy playing with different textures and colors and trying them out in paper form. These were created using a digital sponge brush and creating a pattern that I could then re use in multiple colors in photoshop. Three of the 5 papers are on a neutral color textured background. When creating the papers, I keep in mind that although they can be used in digital form, I may want to print them too, so I choose simple designs and less ink intense patterns and colors. Happy February! January was a busy month of creative frenzy for me! I’ve been working on a few different things which I hope to reveal soon, and I have new images to share with you. I think they will be fun to work with for Valentines or anniversaries, or greetings of love in general!
