Comfort in a Cup of Tea

This week at Crafty Creations Challenges Claire is asking for FLOWERS, handmade, handcolored, hand cut…just make your own flowers! I cut these flowers out of the same dp that I used to cover my teacup.  I just cut a few extra layers and popped them up, and added a gemstone to the centers.  The inspiration for the teacup came from the Teapot Tuesday Challenge.  I cut the card base and mini teapot tag using A Child’s Year cartridge.  This is a must have cartridge!!!  It has so many useful images, card dies, tags, and icons!!  I cannot say enough about it, I simply LOVE It!! Come join in the Crafty Creations Challenge!! Making flowers of your own is easy and fun and there are so many ways to make them!  I actually made some flowers on my card for last week’s challenge that would have worked beautifully for this week’s challenge too.  Click HERE to see them if you’d like. Papers: K& Company, white card stock Accessories: Cricut Expression, A Child’s Year cartridge, gems, twine

CAS Love

A clean and simple card for the CAS challenge on SCS.  We simply had to use designer paper.  I used this pretty new S.E.I dp that has a beautiful shimmer to it.  The love sentiment is cut with the Cricut from the Home Decor cartridge. Don’t forget tomorrow is our Crafty Creations Challenge BLOG HOP!!  I hope you’ll all stop by and say hello!  The hop starts at Crafty Creations challenge blog and I’ll be a hop along the way!
