A Gift from the heart

No matter what my boys surprise me with, be it sticks or stones, leaves,  or bits of shiny junk found on the sidewalk, I make a point of smiling and thanking them wholeheartedly!  Because, I know, when they are giving it to me, they feel as though they are giving me a real treasure! 🙂 And really, nothing could be better!

Every gift is special when given from the heart!

Admittedly, I have not yet been given a frog… 😉

This card qualifies for two different challenges, both new, and both so fun!

The first is for High Hopes new blog.  It is their very first challenge!  They ask that we make a birthday theme card and use brads on it.   Ok. So it is an unconventional birthday card, but still, it would be so cute from the boys to their Dad or even maybe…Grandma!  Don’t you think? 🙂

The second challenge was to use a sketch from one of my very own SBS18 sisters for the  BASICGREY Blog.  The main rule being that we use a Basic Grey product on our card.  Well, that is definitely not a problem for me, since I am in looove with all Basic Grey papers!!  I loved Susie’s sketch too!

Stamps: High Hopes Froggy Gift, Cornish Heritage Farms sentiments Classic, Happy Everything sentiment

Paper: BasicGrey archaic, SU Baja Blue, Whisper white,

Ink: Baja Breeze, chocolate chip, close to cocoa, Going Gray, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, Wild Wasabi:(Stampin’ Up!), Black Staz-On, Peach Pastel Chalk ink

Accessories: Gray brads, Dew drops, blender pen

So glad you could stop by today!!!

Happy stamping!
