I recently received the lovely new releases from Flourishes, including this set “Falling Leaves”. I used a stamp misting technique which gives a nice watercolor effect when you stamp the image. Unfortunately, it did not work so well here with the open (line art) stamps. You can see the effect subtly with the bottom corner leaves stamped directly on the Basic Grey dp.
I do love how the colors turned out! I really didn’t think i would, at first. But here they are and I thought they worked so well for an Autumn themed card! It’s not a complicated card by any means, you know me, I like to keep things simple! I stamped the leaf on my Crushed Curry oval cut out, in Rich Razzleberry, and another that I cut out and popped up on adhesive foam. I inked the edges of the oval frame with some more Rich Razzleberry. The bottom corner leaves are also stamped with Rich Razzleberry.
I am entering this into CPS Card Sketch challenge too!
