Yup, those are my kind of drinks!
This week’s Crafty Creations challenge is to make our own background paper! FUN!! I decided to make a brick wall bg for this uptown girl, for an urban chic look. I stamped the brick wall (Prima stamps) four times to fill my 4″ x 4″ square on glossy paper. When the ink was dry, I sanded it vertically, then horizontally until there was no shine left. It gives it a cool texture! I sponged on some soft blue ink in various spots for some added depth, and sanded again both ways.
The stamp is from the Stamping Boutique and they are generously sponsoring us this week! Have a look at the challenge blog for some fab ideas on making your own backgrounds!
Hope you’ll join us!! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
