Hi, I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend! It’s a long weekend for us and it’s hot and sunny!! This has to be one of the best Victoria Day weekends in a long time! We spent most of the day in our new pool and enjoyed a bbq for supper. It was so relaxing…my eyelids are heavy and it’s only 8:15pm.
Although I did not do any stamping today, I do have a “zen” card to share with you. I made this on Thursday for the SCS Ways to Use it challenge. The challenge was to make a Zentangle. Basically these are images that are created by doodling repetitive patterns. It is a very relaxing way to spend some time (this took me 10 minutes or so) and the result was very satisfying! I don’t doodle a lot so this took me by surprise. I just sort of lost myself in what I was doing and had fun! If you would like to see more zentangle art here are some google images.
Try your hand at one of these if you haven’t already, you may be pleasantly surprised! Thanks for stopping by!!
What a coincidence! I have just finished catching up with my SCS Inkling from last week. I had never heard of Zentangle before reading that post, and now after seeing your interpretation, I can’t wait to give this a try! This is SOOO CREATIVE, Deena, especially in the black/white! DEFINITELY a WOW factor! 🙂
Hugs~
